Insects in my home, identification #909907

Can you tell me what type of insect this is and how I can get rid of it. They seem to be mostly in the kitchen and bathrooms but they are also in the living room and bedroom. I have tried trapping them with apple cider vinegar, pouring hot water down the drains, and I've tried a zevo bug strip. Although there are fewer now than there were, they still seem to keep coming. It's been about a week and a half since I've been trying to get rid of them. Thank you.

The photos are fuzzy and not very detailed, making identification uncertain.  However, it looks like a fruit fly.  While trapping with vinegar is a good idea, the most important thing is to find and eliminate the rotting debris that attracts them.  Read here:
