Hi, I made strawberry freezer jam using the recipe in the pectin box. I used the quick and easy recipe that you DO NOT cook on the stove…. You just blend fruit with lemon juice, pectin and then let sit for 30 minutes (stirring every 5 minutes) and finally add the sugar. Once that is done, you put in jars and let sit out on the counter for 24 hours. I forgot and left my jars out for almost 2 days before I put in the freezer. Is the jam still ok to eat?

Expert Response
I am sure your jam is ok. If if did not ferment or mold, enjoy. Because it is not cooked it will mold easier and also it can ferment. Fermenting is not dangerous, but will change the flavor, but if it molded then I would not use it. Other than that enjoy.
