Hedgenettle #909300

Asked July 10, 2025, 3:59 PM EDT

I found this plant in my wildflower garden. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be there. My phone identifier calls it hedgenettle. It’s close to four feet tall and has about eight hairy, sturdy stems. I would like to pull it out unless it’s a worthwhile plant

Expert Response

This is brown-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia triloba). It is a prairie plant and a keeper.
