Hi- animals will feed on cucumber but the uniformity of the damage suggests high heat and sunlight exposure. (Note: the photo size is small so we could not enlarge it to see the fruits in great detail.)

Over the past week, we have received many reports of leaf and fruit burn symptoms. It's possible that this particular cucumber variety has thinner or more vulnerable "skin" than other varieties.

We would expect that the injury is most noticeable on fruits fully exposed to the sun.
