About 20 years old. Still decent flower and fruit production but losing a few branches each year the past few years. Probably shadier location than ideal.
Some kind of fungus?

From the looks of the holes in the trunk, you may have an insect that is burrowing into the tree, or possibly some type of bird that is pecking at the tree. If it is a bird, you have some insect that it is trying to get at.
As far as the leaves, it looks as if the tree is stressed. Could be due to weather- lack of moisture or too much, could be a fungus. Also I am not a tree expert. You may look into a certified arborist to take a look at the actual trees.
