I have what I think is gumosis on one of my peach trees. It produces plenty of green peaches but they never ripen. How do I remedy this problem? Greatly appreciate any advice! #894379

Expert Response

Hello, please submit a sample to the UD Plant Diagnostic Clinic (free) this spring once you start getting peaches. Submission instructions can be found here: www.udel.edu/extension/plantclinic. If the gummosis is on the peaches themselves, this can be an indication of insect activity. If the gummosis is on the branches, you can submit branch samples now and we can try to diagnose the issue.
