OSU has a detailed article about the various characteristics of strawberries. Cabot, Jewel and Sparkle have the best dessert qualities of June bearing strawberries, which I understand to mean the best tasting.
As for the day neutral (ever bearing) strawberries, none were designated as excellent dessert quality. The highest rating was only good or fair. But if you plant some day neutral strawberries, at least you'd have some berries throughout the summer.
