I would like to kill weeds in my driveway and walkways. #890560

We are up in Santiam Canyon where the wildfires were in 2020. We have rebuilt and have a well and septic. I was thinking of using a formula of salt and vinegar as a weedkiller for grasses etc growing in walkways and drive ways. Would that have a negative effect on either the well water or septic ?

There isn't a direct concern to the well and septic system, however these chemicals can cause longer term issues with the soil microbiological activity and applied too strongly can cause longer term issues if you want to promote a different plant later on - if these aren't your permanent walkways, etc.
