Hello!

I was able to find several lists of plants that should meet your needs. Not all of them are appropriate for the tupperware container, but they could go on the edges or just be in the pond. You'll want to select ones that are for the water's edge/marginal and don't require periods of dry for the container.

Native Plants for Aquatic Gardens and Aquariums (wsu.edu), This resource is from Washington, it also lists many invasive plants to avoid.

Northwest native plants for the streamside garden | OSU Extension Service (oregonstate.edu), See the section called "Flowering herbaceous plants for the water's edge"

Create a Garden Pond for Wildlife, Page 6 has a concise list of plants.

Some examples of plants that would be appropriate, dependent on the size of the container:

- Cattail (Typha latifolia)

- Yellow monkey flower (Mimulus guttatus)

- Skunk cabbage (Lysichiton americanus)

- Wapato (Sagittaria latifolia)

- American water-plantain (Alisma triviale or Alisma plantago-aquatica)
