Hello,
Japanese beetles are a real challenge this time of year! The best management practice is to go out to impacted plants early in the morning and late in the evening and knock the beetles into a container of soapy water. They are slow moving at these times of the day so they're easier to knock off. Note: traps are not an effective method of management in areas such as the front range where Japanese beetles are well established.
