This tree was damaged with heat and deer. it looks really bad on the trunk, but the everything else looks good.
Is there anything I can do to help it live. I do not want to lose it.

The trunk does look badly damaged but not girdled, so nutrients and water must be passing through the cambium layer to the leaves if the rest of the tree looks healthy. Wrap the trunk or place wire fencing around the tree to keep deer away in the future, cross your fingers, and hopefully your tree will do well.
