I purchased two pounds of strawberries from the supermarket yesterday. I've refrigerated them but can you tell me if there are additional steps I can take to keep the strawberries in good condition for a few days without freezing them?

Hi Janet,
Thanks for your patience. I have been out of office. I have found that keeping strawberries in a glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator instead of their original packaging can extend the life of strawberries. Do not wash them first before using, as this will make them go bad faster.
