Holes eaten in my Begonias #875268

Asked June 29, 2024, 4:10 PM EDT

Something is eating my Begonia leaves. How do figure what it is and what to do about it? Thanks!!

Expert Response

You can inspect the leaves (top and undersides) after dark, as some plant pests only feed at night. This might be due to slugs/snails, beetles, caterpillars, earwigs, grasshoppers, crickets, or katydids. Slugs/snails would be our prime suspect in this case, and the linked page includes management tips if they are the confirmed culprit.
