Several questions about clover #874887

Hi, thanks for taking time to look at this. I had a bare area in my lawn and recently seeded it. I left the existing wild clover growing there because I like how it looks. Both grew very well, thanks to all the rain, and the area is filling in nicely. I like the look of both together and want to extend the grass + clover along that whole side. My questions are (1. what kind of clover is this? (2. how can I accomplish this (seed or transplant...?) and (3. if seeds, where can I get them? (I've never seen clover seed packages displayed, and I want to make sure I buy the same kind).
Thanks again, Linda

There are a number of clovers that grow naturally around here and others that are sold as seed or in grass mixes.
For example: a bee lawn mix will usually include Dutch white clover.
I can’t identify for certain what you have from your photos but it looks like wood sorrel which is in the Oxalis, or clover family.
There are master gardeners working at farmers markets in Ramsey county. If you brought them a fresh sample they will probably be able to identify it. Or you could upload a close-up photo of the clover here.
