Plant Identification #874837

Asked June 26, 2024, 3:47 PM EDT

hope you are having a glorious day! I received a lovely plant basket for my birthday last November. Of the three plants included in the basket, this is the only one I am unable to identify. I don’t know how to take care of it! Is it a Dracaena Janet Craig Compacta? Whatever it is, should I repot it now? Thank you, Molly Anderson

Expert Response

It is a drachmae but I couldn’t tell you the exact cultivar.

Your plant looks healthy. Keep watering it every 14 days and fertilize weakly every month.

Houseplants should be repotted every 2 to 3 years as a rule. Do not increase the pot size more than one inch.
