Norway spruce browning #873557

I planted this Norway spruce and it is browning from bottom up. A couple others have completely died. One was in full sun. One in shade. I water them everyday

Hi Diane, thanks for the question.

 This looks like a needle cast disease.  Although Norway spruce trees are relatively resistant to  rhizosphaera or stigmina needle cast diseases this appears to be the case. Weakened trees could be more susceptible. When was the tree planted?  What is your soil like (sandy, loamy, clay)?  How are you watering and how long?  How much sun does this tree get?  Is the tree subject to winds? Check out the links for more info and see if you can see the fruiting bodies:
