Expert Response

Hi ronmary,
That is a cranberry bush viburnum, Viburnum opulus. There are European and American species of this plant. The main way to tell them apart is to look at glands on the petiole (leaf stem). The American species' glands look like matchstick heads; those of the European species are concave and ear-shaped.
Best regards,
Sandy
