Hi where is the closed place or way to get garden soil tested?

Good morning and thank you for reaching out. You can actually order soil test kits (for home use) on our shop.msu.edu website.
Soil Test Mailer (msu.edu)
Commercial farmers need a different test and need to pick there's up at their local Extension Office. You can also pick yours up at your local Extension office. Here's a link to all our offices so you can find the one closest to you. (The Livingston County office is in Howell and it appears they prefer you make an appointment to stop by. Summers are a very busy time and many of our staff are out in the field working)
