I was wondering if I need to do anything to my variegated lemon thyme groundcover plants over the winter?

Experts at Colorado State University suggest this: "Mulch thyme in the winter after the first of the year to prevent frost heaving and winter damage. Water it once a month during dry periods in the winter."
