I live on a half acre lot and have a good amount of buckthorn growing that I will begin to cut out and remove. What are best practices for disposing of the buckthorn debris? My municipality does compost bin pick-up once a week to an industrial composting facility. Would this suffice?

Expert Response
Many municipalities offer yard waste pickup. Some actually chip branches into mulch. This is a great way to dispose of them. I would recommend removing them before berries develop. If you cut them down afterwards, you may spread the berries. This may mean removing them all now and disposing them over time.
