Hi Marcella,

From what I can see in your photos, that is Ledebouria socialis, or Silver Squill, probably variety "violacea".  

The are fairly easy to care for--use a well draining potting mix and fertilize occasionally through the growing season.  Bright light (but not direct sun) will help to keep the plants more compact.
