All of my tiny baby plums have curculio worm scars. I removed all of them from my three-year-old trees about 70 plums were affected. What is the organic spray program to prevent curculio. I sprayed with horticultural oil in March, a week later neem oil and May 6-8 all my fruit trees were sprayed with kaolin clay.

Kaolin clay is effective as long as it has good coverage beginning at petal fall. Kaolin sprays need to be thorough and need to be reapplied as the fruits grow. Heavy wind and rain can also cause the clay to come off and make more applications necessary.
