I have been reading about peach tree diseases as I have 2 peach trees in my yard. They are 2 years old, starting 3rd year this spring. Below are pictures of the tree and a close up of what could be bacterial canker.
Please let me know what you think.

It certainly could be bacterial canker. It could also be one of the peachtree borers. There are two species, peachtree borer and lesser peachtree borer. Look for insect frass (little bits of chewed up wood) mixed into the sap and/or other signs of insect presence such as shed skins or cocoons.
