Vegetable cultivation and sunlight #866792

I want to grow tomatoes, okra, bitter gourd( tropical), cayenne pepper. I have a yard with half getting morning sun only and another area with only afternoon sun. Where should I grow the items I mentioned?

Unfortunately the vegetables that you wish to grow all need full, direct sunlight of at least 6 (preferably 8+) hours a day to do well. Do either of your areas get 6 hours?

If there is any way that you could have some selective pruning or thinning of overhead tree limbs that could help.

You could consider growing vegetables that need less sun, such as leafy greens (spinach, kale, lettuces (early or late in season during cooler times) root crops like carrots, beets or radish.
