I purchased paper decoy fake wasp nests. If I hang them in my yard, will it deter beneficial bees from our area?

Hi Sandy,
I am unable to locate any research based information on the efficacy of fake wasp nests or their effect on native bees, honey bees, or bumble bees.
In fact the only information I could find is from Ask an Entomologist, "Do Wasp Nest Decoys Work?"
For more information on the control of Yellowjackets, University of Idaho has a great publication, "Wasp and Hornet Control".
