This lovely violet was moved in doors about 3 wks ago. It was on a shelf outdoor on a protected balcony facing NE. Only things I can find, point to this being sunburn. I am wondering if it is due to possibly water being on the leafs.

It could be sunscald (perhaps the soil became too dry at one point, leading to leaf "burn") or temperature stress. African Violets are quite sensitive to chilly temperatures, and if any cool nights occurred around that time (perhaps around 55 degrees or lower), that definitely could have played a role in causing the leaf damage. Leaves don't heal from damage, so these lesions won't become green again, but you can remove those leaves to improve the plant's appearance and to reduce the risk that an infection sets into the damaged tissues. Water on African Violet leaves can also cause spotting, particularly when the water is ten or so degrees cooler than the plant tissues, but this blotch looks too large to be caused by that (though we can't rule it out).
