What plants benefit and what plants should avoid using coffee grounds as a soil amendment in the garden? How do you use the grounds for the best results?

Recommendations are that coffee grounds can be added to compost, though mixed with other materials. They can also be spread as mulch, but again, include other materials. I don’t find lists of particular plants to use grounds with.
