My strawberry bed has had moss growing in it over the last 2 years. How can I irradiate and improve the soil to keep it from coming back?

Expert Response

Moss in strawberries is unusual, as the berries generally require full sun, and moss grows mostly in shade.
Share a couple of photos, please. One relatively close of an area with moss, as identifying the type is helpful to control decisions. Second, a shot from further away, to show the whole berry patch and surrounding garden. The sun/shade and water drainage is another key to understanding moss.
Lastly, how is your berry crop? Is the moss a concern because of how it looks?
