Hello,

I believe from your entry that you are interested in how best to prune your ficus?  I am including some weblinks on general recommended pruning techniques for trees, as well as care of ficus lyrata. I’ve also included a link to a similar previous question via the extension website.  Pruning of these trees may be helpful to keep it a certain size indoors, or to give it a certain shape based on personal preference.  For instance, some may wish a bushier plant whereas others may prefer more of a tall tree-like shape.  Whatever your goal, it is recommended to not remove more than about 10% of your tree when pruning.  Let us know if you  have questions after reviewing the resources below.
