I received a large order of hay for my 2 horses. 9 21 bale bundles. They have presented musty when I open the bales and a dark musty “smoke “ arises from the hay as I open each bale. Smells musty and this cannot be fed to my horses. The hay dealer requires pictures of the bad hay to show mold in the photos. Some of the bales do have mold. But it doesn’t show up well in the photos. The hay dealer seems reluctant to stand by their guarantee which is replacing or refunding moldy hay. I need an expert to help me with establishing the quality of this hay, as I cannot keep a barn full of bad hay and cannot feed it. Also the cost was for premium hay at $16/bale. I’m asking for help with this problem. Thank you. #815581
