Vanderwolf Pine Problems #802691
Asked July 24, 2022, 2:45 AM EDT
Last year I planted a Vanderwolf Pine at our new home and it seemed to do well the first year; however, lower branches pf pine needles began turning yellow from the inside to outer part of the branch. Eventually, only a cluster of green at the tip of the branch. This has slowly worked its way up the tree to the middle section of this younger pine.
Not sure if diseased, over-watering, underwatering, or natural process...you assistance appreciated. Happy to pay for someone to visit and provide tree care!

Pine trees naturally only retain 1 to 3 years of needles.
Shedding usually occurs in the fall.
Pines usually need a deep watering once a week, or maybe twice during our higher temps of July and August.
