Using epsom salts #796050

I see conflicting advice about using Epsom salts. If it’s good to use an annuals, roses (very new ones) and azalea, please advise

Hi Karen!  There are so many garden "myths" that have been handed down from generation to generation, gardener to gardener. The short answer is "no," Epsom salts don't help in the garden unless you have a magnesium deficiency in the soil. The only way to find out if you have a magnesium deficiency is to do a soil test.
