What is the procedure for getting these bags

Don,

https://soiltesting.tamu.edu/ has information on collecting and submitting soil samples to the Texas A&M Laboratory. They recommend putting the samples into a quart-sized re-sealable heavy gauge plastic bag.

The Urban and Homeowner Soil Sample form is attached. Others can be accessed, as needed, from the links at the bottom of the web page above.

Hi Don,

We no longer distribute the soil bags. You may use any small paper bag or pint container. Avoid metal, tin cans, glass containers.

Laboratory business hours. Testing parameters, pricing, sample collection and shipping info care located on submittal forms (link below). The Texas A&M University campus and the Soil Testing Laboratory will close at noon on Dec. 23rd, 2021.
