I was only able to find two university references to planting potatoes in mushroom compost. Both come from non-Ohio sources, but might be worth reading. The first indicates that potatoes like loose soil rich in organic matter, so it suggested working finished home compost or mushroom compost into your bed. See http://blogs.ifas.ufl.edu>leonco>2014/01/30>grow.
The second, https://extension.oregonstate.edu>news>what-mushroom deals with the importance of pH in controlling scab. When the pH gets close to 6.0 plant nutrients increase and toxic elements are less available. The provides good nutrient growing conditions. pH levels should be as high as possible if scab isn't a problem (close to 6.0). But to control scab, the soil pH should be 5.0-5.2 It indicates potato breeders are working on developing scab resistant varieties.
I hope this provides assistance in answering your question.
