I have a lantana in a pot. Do I cut off that little thing that looks like a pineapple? And do I cut off the things that look like dark green berries?

It is recommended that spent blossoms be trimmed off before the fruit (berries) develop. Lightly shearing the tip growth will encourage repeat blooming.
Thanks for the links. If available I would like to see a diagram or photo that shows exactly what I am supposed to trim. I get the part about pruning before the next season, but I don't know what to do right now. Is the thing that looks like a tiny, tiny pineapple getting ready to bloom or has it already bloomed? Is that "pineapple" also known as tip growth?
As you can see, I don't know much!

Can you send me a picture of the pineapple-like growths you're seeing? I don't have a photo to show how your lantana should be sheared but trim off any blossoms as soon as they are spent. You don't want your plant putting energy into developing seeds rather than more flowers.
I'm not very computer savvy, but here are my efforts. The first photo is of the "pineapple;" the second, the "pea." Are these things new growth or should I cut them off? I do realize that you could probably look at the whole plant and instantly answer my concerns. Thanks for your help. Carolyn Gillespie

Thanks for the pictures. Those appear to be the fruit (berries) that are produced after flowering. I would remove these to promote more blooms.
