We are considering planting vegetables in plot of all coffee grounds, what are benefits, side effects and disadvantages? What mixture of coffee grounds and other materials, what are some other materials?

Coffee grounds are usually added as a soil amendment. Uncomposted coffee grounds will not make a suitable growing medium. You would have to compost them for months before using them extensively.
