Is there a variety of Hazelnut that will grow in North Florida (zip=32327)? we used to be a warmer zone 8, but now we are a cooler zone 9. If i want to try to grow hazelnuts, which is the best variety to try and where can i purchase some?

I suggest you contact the Wakulla County, Florida, Extension office to see if experts there have an opinion on growing hazelnuts there, and the variety they recommend.
