cherry tomatoes #682088

Has any tried freezing cherry tomatoes. I had a great excess of cherry tomatoes from 2 plants. On a lark I washed them let the skins dry and froze ziplock quart bags. Awesome result we have not used a can of tomatoes all winter. Extremely easy to use in soup, fry pan or oven recipes. Skin eft on in most. Ran some in hot water and skins popped off I a second used on pizza whole. When bitting into the tomato amazed by the fresh zing tomato flavor. Just wanted folks to know.

That is a great idea especially given that cherry tomato plants if hung against a wall can produce a huge output for weeks and weeks.
