Went to the bathroom to take a number 2 when I found this climbing on the bathroom wall.... It freaked me out but I'm pretty sure it was some kind of common house spider but I'm not sure. What kind is this? , and should I be worried? , and why was it there? I did kill it with very hot water or not it could have lived and if it's not dangerous I'm so sorry ;(

Most spiders are not dangerous to humans but they do have venom which they use to kill food. If you accidentally get one under a leg or arm, some will bite in defense and the bite can be painful. Most spiders run away or sit very still so you do not notice them. As far as they know, you are a big predator and they want nothing to do with you. There are exceptions, but even with them, you usually need to make the first move.
I can not ID this one. The image is too dark to see markings.
