I have about a hundred small flying bugs that have suddenly died on my white car this morning. I trying to figure out what and why.

It is unclear from the photo and description what insects were found on your car. It is unusual for there to be a hundred dead insects on your car. If this happens again, I suggest that you submit a specimen to the King County Extension diagnostic lab.
