My pine and spruce tree's seem to be dying from the bottom up. (please see pictures)
Do they have a fungus? can they be saved? what can i do to save them?
is there a place that i can take a sample to have it diagnosed.

Hello
The photos that you sent are of a Colorado Blue Spruce. These trees have a lot of problems in Michigan. They are susceptible to several diseases and insect attack. I’m attaching an article from Bert Cregg of MSU which explains all the problems that these trees have and why they have them.

I do not know if your tree can be saved but I suggest that you contact a certified arborist at: https://www.treesaregood.org. ,the website of the International Arborists Society to find an arborist in your area for you to consult.
