Hello, I am preparing for my first real fall veggie garden, and I'm looking for high-yield plants for small-ish garden spaces. I would like to harvest late into the year maybe even after snow- but that might be wishful thinking. Do you have specific vegetables or cultivars that you've found successful for late planting in the DMV/DC area? I have a small in-ground area and 4 raised garden beds (on top concrete), all of which receive 6-8 hours of full sun. I'm currently growing tomatoes and bell peppers in these ares. I'm hoping to grow kale, swiss chard, broccoli, and mustard greens, starting indoors in August and transplanting into the garden after the summer crops are finished.
