I have 3 newly planted aralia sun king plants. I picked them because they are resistant to pests but something is eating holes in the leaves. I can't see anything on the leaves and Bonide insect spray is not working. Ideas?? Could it be slugs?

I am guessing it could be slugs. You could try checking by putting down a wet board and leaving it overnight. Turn it over in the morning to see if you can find any slugs.
