Can you tell me what kind of spider this is?

To me, the large globular abdomen and the proportion of the legs makes it look like a a female spider in the Family Theridiidae. Here is some information on this Family http://bugguide.net/node/view/1960

It is very difficult to identify spiders without the specimen or very detailed photos of the various parts used as diagnostic characters.
