Hello, we farm in Ontario ,Canada. We have 3000 blueberry plants. We would like to put netting over individual rows each season. Should the net be draped over a support wire and if so, how high should the supporting posts be. Thank You, Sid Vanderwerf

The netting should be higher than what you think the final height of the bush will be. I see 8 to 10 feet as a good height. Just draping the netting over a single wire will result in the netting being entangled in the shoot tips and berries, and pulling a lot of berries off the bush when the netting is removed for harvest. I would suggest draping the netting between wires to try and keep the netting off the bushes.
