My lilac whas light purple and change to white. Why ???? I didn't change anything ! I am fron Québec, Canada

Many tree and shrub flowers start out one color and then lighten as they age, mostly due to bleaching from the sun. If yours started as light purple, then it wouldn't be too unusual for them to turn whitish. The weather as the flowers are opening and maturing also would have some impact.

Another thing that can happen is most ornamental plants are a top plant grafted onto a rootstock. The rootstock usually is the same species but a different cultivar. So if it sprouts and sends branches up from below the graft, then on that branch you will get whatever flower color that the rootstock has. To get rid of that you just prune it off at its base.
