I own a 50 acre parcel of land in Pittsfield, VT. This property had been used as a dairy farm for over a hundred years but was abandoned in the 1960's. I purchase it in 1999.
I am interested in developing an apple orchard on this property.
I am reaching out to you to see if know if the University or the State of Vermont has outreach or extension programs that might be helpful to me in getting my project started.
Any information you can provide to me would be greatly appreciated.
I can be reached by email or phone.
Thank you.
Regards,
Dennis
