This plant is Aeschynanthus radicans, otherwise known as a Lipstick Plant.
There area variety of techniques used for propagation of this plant. The most common method used is propagation via stem cuttings in the spring. Cut a stem below the 4th set of leaves, removing the lower two sets and leaving the upper two sets. After dipping the cut end in a rooting hormone, put the bare part of the stem in a small container that has a mix of half coir (pre-moistened) and half vermiculite or perlite. Mist the mix well and place the container with the cutting in a plastic bag, sealing off the top with a twist tie. Put the container in a warm spot that has indirect light. If there is bottom heat, so much the better. Bear in mind that direct sun will cook the cutting! When the soil is dry, mist the soil well and return to the plastic bag. Do not over water. If condensation forms, you may need to poke a few holes in the bag lest rot rot kill your cutting. You will know when roots have formed by gently pulling on the cutting. If you feel resistance you will know that there are roots and you may then repot your cutting into a small pot.
