Naomi is a Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Educator housed in the MSU Extension office in Mason County. She is passionate about reaching undeserved populations. Her current initiative focuses on diabetes education/outreach for the vulnerable migrant farm-worker population. She serves as chair of the Oceana Health Bound Diabetes Sub-committee.
Naomi is trained to deliver the following courses in English and Spanish: Diabetes PATH, Chronic Pain PATH, Dining with Diabetes, National Diabetes Prevention Program, A Matter of Balance, Powerful Tools for Caregivers.
