Yu Man Lee

Conservation Scientist

I am a Conservation Scientist and Zoologist/Herpetologist with the Michigan Natural Features Inventory (MNFI), a program of MSU Extension and Michigan's Natural Heritage Program. Our mission is to provide the highest quality information about Michigan's biodiversity, particularly rare, threatened, and endangered species and range of natural communities, to help inform conservation and management decisions. My primary areas of expertise are amphibians and reptiles, particularly rare and declining species, and their ecology, habitats, and conservation. Other areas of interest and/or expertise include vernal pools and wetlands in general, monitoring, climate change, citizen science, place-based education, and community engagement.
